      • When Windows 7 was released in 2009, Microsoft committed to providing 10 years of product support.

        Windows 7 will go end-of-life on 14th January 2020. This means that technical assistance and software updates will no longer be available. You will still be able to use your computer without updating the software. However, you will be at a higher risk of security breaches and threats.

      • We’ve been talking about 5G for a while now. Though its launch is still being eagerly awaited in many cities, it is up and running in others.       • Openreach is in the process of preparing for the withdrawal of the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). This is also known as the ‘ISDN switch-off’. The current telephone network will not be supported past the end of 2025.

        By the end of 2025, all voice services will have to run on top of a broadband connection. Landlines are being used less and less, yet it remains costly to maintain the traditional copper phone network.

        This feature will allow users to login to apps and websites using their Apple ID. After confirmation, using your Touch or Face ID, you’ll be good to go.

        Dark Mode

        Apple are finally introducing dark mode to iOS. The feature has been available on MacOS for some time but is only now making its way onto the iPhone. You can easily toggle dark mode on/off from the control centre. Not only is it good for using at night, but it can help extend your battery life too.
