Roda’s Abseil for Cathedral Archer Project
On 12th May, Roda are taking part in an Abseil to raise money for the Cathedral Archer Project.
The Cathedral Archer Project is a charity, based in Sheffield. They support homeless people through a range of services and activities. It began around 30 years ago, as a place of shelter providing a basic breakfast. Now, it has developed into a holistic service that helps people improve their lives.
The charity provides 1-to-1 support for people. From shower and laundry facilities to nurse and dental clinics, they help provide essentials to those who need it the most. They also run activities to help develop people’s skills and independence, whilst providing volunteering opportunities too. This not only helps improve their employability, but also their well-being.
You can find out more about the Cathedral Archer Project and how you can get involved over on their website.
The Abseil takes place in Sheffield next month. We’ll be abseiling down the side of a 12-story tower, with a total height of 50 metres (or 160 ft).
So, please dig deep and give as much or as little as you can. This money goes towards a great cause. You can donate over on our Just Giving page.
Thank you!
